Ace director Mani Ratnam has decided on an important subject for his next film, and he is preparing to deliver the historical drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ which is based on Kalki’s novel. Following the failure of various stars to produce the film, Mani Ratnam made the film based on the popular novel that tells the history of the Cholas, and the film will be released in two parts. Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ first part run time has now been revealed. The first instalment of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is due to be released in five languages on September 30th, and the picture is poised for a big debut.
The film’s final work is underway, and the director is claimed to have completed the final copy. The film’s runtime is believed to be 2 hours and 50 minutes, which is smaller than the runtime of some major releases earlier this year. Mani Ratnam appears to have crafted a brief and snappy first section in order to draw audiences deeper into the film’s second part. Fans, on the other hand, are anxiously awaiting the film’s premiere and want to see the Cholas’ history on enormous screens.
The soundtrack and video for ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ are set to be released in September in Chennai, with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan serving as special guests. The cast of ‘Ponniyin Selvan,’ including Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, and Prakash Raj, will travel throughout the world after the audio release to promote the historic film among fans worldwide.
