Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ BTS pics go viral

‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ is unquestionably one of Indian cinema’s most anticipated films. The audience already considers it one of the most important films in Kollywood history. Director Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘PS1,’ produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, is due to be released on September 30.

AR Rahman provided the soundtrack for the franchise, and Ravi Varman directed the film. Ravi Varman came to his social media profile on August 25 to release BTS photographs from the Ponniyin Selvan shooting location. Karthi plays Vandhiyathevan, Chiyaan Vikram plays Aadhitha Karikalan, Aishwarya Rai plays Nandhini, and Jayaram plays Thirumalaiappan.

These photos are now trending on the internet. The Tamil and Telugu audio launch functions for ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’, on the other hand, are scheduled for September 6 and September 8, respectively. The film is a two-part historical fiction that is an authorized adaptation of author Kalki’s epic novel about the Chola Dynasty’s throne.

A trip documentary based on R Krishnamurthy’s masterpiece Ponniyin Selvan, Paraak Paraak, was announced by the Kalki Group. It will debut on their YouTube channel on September 24. This trip documentary seems to be intended to educate viewers about historical events while also reaching out to those who do not read print media (books). The novel is reportedly set at Kattumannarkoil, the Kadambur palace, Kodumbalur, Kallanai, Kodiakarai, Thirukoilur, Mamallapuram, and Thakkolam, according to a reports.

Part one (PS-1) of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan will premiere on September 30. This was confirmed by Madras Talkies, the film’s production company.
