Mammootty‘s ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’ completes 34 years. It’s been a long time since the release of the main film of the superhit CBI series, named ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’. The film made the debut appearance of the iconic investigation office character Sethurama Iyer CBI played by the incredible Malayali star Mammootty.

The director K Madhu took to his official Instagram handle to share an image with Mammootty and the scriptwriter SN Swamy. Like the film, ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’ clocks 34 years. Sharing the image, the ‘CBI’ series director wrote an inspiring note that read, “34 years of Oru CBI Diary Kurippu. The team remains vibrant and rocking as ever. New clues, New findings. New genres. The beginning of a new challenge. On the sets. Ready to roll!.”

The CBI series involved the movies ‘Oru CBI Diary Kurippu’, ‘Jagratha’, ‘Sethurama Iyer CBI’ and ‘Nerariyan CBI’ which were released in the years 1988, 1989, 2004, and 2005 individually. The movies were directed by K Madhu and the script was written by SN Swamy. The shoot of the impending fifth portion of the CBI series is going full swing as per reports.
