(10.08.2021) Malayalee athlete KT Irfan blames bad weather at Tokyo Olympics. Irfan said he was shocked by the reception at the New Delhi airport.KT Irfan finished 51st out of 52 participants in the 20 km walk at the Olympics.

‘It was the weather that made the expected performance unpredictable. It was nice and warm, and the muscle had a small grip. He is confident that he will be able to put up a good performance in the upcoming Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. He said he was happy to see India participate in the Tokyo Olympics, where it won its first athletic medal.

Irfan is currently preparing for the upcoming matches. Irfan says Neeraj Chopra’s gold medal will be a great inspiration to all athletes.Meanwhile, Indian team player PR Sreejesh, who won a bronze medal in men ‘s hockey, will return to Kochi on Tuesday.
