Malayalam movie Aavesham enters 50 crore club

Fahadh and Jithu Madhavan’s combination is continuing its good run at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark within just a few days. The film released on April 11 and has collected over Rs 3 crore at the box office in five days. The film collected Rs 3.5 crore on the first day of its release. The film has collected Rs 10.57 crore worldwide. In the days that followed, the global collection remained at ten crores. The first week’s total collection was Rs 11 crore. The film is also getting a good response in Tamil Nadu. The film collected Rs 3.85 crore on its fifth day in India. So I am happy to have successfully passed the test.

The film is directed by Jithu Madhavan. The plot of the film revolves around the story of 3 Malayalee students in the backdrop of a college in Bengaluru and the subsequent interesting developments after they seek the help of a local goonda leader named Ranga for some problems they face. The film also stars Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, YouTuber Hipster , Mithun JS, Roshan Shanavas, Pooja Mohanraj, Neeraja Rajendran, Sreejith Nair and Thangam Mohan in pivotal roles. Malayalam cinema is in its golden period. Not only the content, but also the collection angle is amazing. In the first three months of this year, 51 films were released in Malayalam.

The film has collected over Rs 750 crore at the worldwide box office. Forum Kerala reports that this is the figure as of Sunday, April 14. The film is said to be the biggest hit in the history of Malayalam cinema. According to a report , the Malayalam film has earned Rs 374 crore from the Indian box office. That is, close to 50 percent of the total collection of Malayalam cinema comes from abroad. It is clear that Malayalam has a huge potential for theatrical release. It is also significant that after many years of Vishu releases, the film has already earned Rs 77 crore in five days at the global box office. So far, the film has collected over Rs 50 crore worldwide. The film is the second highest grossing Indian film of all time. The film has collected Rs 374.14 crore at the Indian box office. After Bollywood, Telugu and Tamil, Malayalam is the third most popular language in India. Industry trackers estimate that if Malayalam cinema takes advantage of the huge global release potential in the second quarter of this year, Mollywood will reach the record of earning 1000 crores in a year for the first time.
