The makers of actor Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie, provisionally named SSMB28, announced on social media on Saturday that filming will start in January after the actor temporarily paused after the tragic death of his father Krishna.
The movie is produced by S Radhakrishna and directed by Trivikram Srinivas under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations. The production processes likewise move quickly, guided by the makers. After Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010), the SSMB28 movie will be Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas’ third collaboration. The next movie, which stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, is described as an action comedy with family appeal. The script was also written by Trivikram, and Mahesh Babu will reportedly don a “rugged image with long hair and a beard.”
Navin Nooli, a national award-winning editor, will work on SSMB28 alongside the film’s art director AS Prakash, music director S Thaman, and cinematographer PS Vinod.
In 2023, SSMB28 is scheduled for theatrical release. Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli will collaborate on his next project after the current one’s filming is finished.
