Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 filming has encountered many difficulties from the beginning. After 12 years, Trivikram Srinivas is back directing the actor, and Mahesh Babu will be paired up with Pooja Hegde once more after the 2019 film Maharshi. This film’s first schedule got off to a big start in September in Hyderabad’s Annapurna Studios, where they shot for a week. Several epic action scenes with huge stakes were filmed during this time frame. According to producer Naga Vamshi, the second schedule would shortly begin.
However, Indira Devi, Mahesh’s mother, passed away before it could start. After delivering her final rites, the actor needed time to process the tragedy, so he took a vacation from shooting. After asking the creators to hold off for a bit, he soon left for a trip to Europe. It was anticipated that the shooting will get back up after Mahesh Babu got back. November instead of October was chosen for the second schedule.
But just as everything seemed to be coming together, Pooja suffered a leg injury while working with Salman Khan on the Bollywood film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan. She has a torn ligament, thus the doctors have indicated that she should take some time to recover at home. According to reports, Trivikram and the entire cast of SSMB28 are still awaiting her recovery so they may begin filming.
According to recent sources, the movie’s second schedule, which was originally scheduled for November, has been moved up to the first week of December. There are rumors that SSMB28 would feature a significant role for aspiring actress Geethika Tiwari, who portrayed the lead in the movie Ahimsa.
