Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ gets standing ovation at Cannes

Actor Madhavan is making his first time at the helm with the film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. The film is based on true incidents and it is a biopic drama inspired by ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. The film debuted at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival and it was widely praised and every one of the visitors and superstars present at the French Riviera applauded the film apparently.

Director Dhoop Ashwini took to Twitter to share that the film was astounding and the team got overwhelming applause and standing ovations from the crowd. Sharing a video, he expressed, “Fab job Director Sahib @ActorMadhavan. Big hug and huge congratulations from the team.”

As per reports, after the film, the crowd at the Cannes gave stunning overwhelming applause to director Madhavan for an entire 10 minutes. Making its reality debut, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ was also praised by Union Minister Anurag Thakur and music composer AR Rahman as well. Actor Madhavan purportedly expressed that he is overpowered by the reaction the film got at Cannes and said that he is grateful by god’s grace. He said thanks to the crowd for all the affection and backing that the film has gotten.

‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ will be released in theaters worldwide on July 1. The film has a huge star cast of famous actors Madhavan, Simran, Misha Ghoshal, Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, Ron Donaiche. Actors Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan have played a guest appearances in the film. The film will be released in Tamil, English, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
