M-town actor Sreejith Ravi arrested under POCSO act; Know more

Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi, child of well-known veteran actor TG Ravi, was arrested for supposedly flashing himself to minor school girls. He has been captured under Section 11 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. As per reports, the incident occurred on June 4 in the Thrissur locale.

According to police reports, Sreejith Ravi was in the car and when he saw two young girls strolling by, he got out of his vehicle and flashed his private parts. After the case was documented by the girl’s parents, police examined the episode in view of his car. The police captured Sreejith, and during the examination, he admitted he has clearly been going through treatment for his behavioral disorder.

This isn’t the first time when Sreejith Ravi has been arrested for a foul act. As per reports, the actor was captured in 2016 for a similar demonstration. He was captured after very nearly 16 gatherings of young girls blamed him for blazing at them. In any case, Sreejith was conceded bail around then. Afterward, the guardians of the minor young girls blamed the police for subverting the case without gathering the required proof.

Sreejith is hitched to Sajitha Sreejith and has 2 kids, Rijrashwa Sreejith and Ritunjay Sreejith. Sreejith started his acting vocation in 2005 with the film Mayookham. Around the same time, he stumbled upon the opportunity of a lifetime with the film Chanthupottu, which ran for 100 days. He also won SIIMA Award in 2013 for the Best Comedian for his performance in the film Punyalan Agarbattis.
