Lyricist and writer Pulamaipithan left his breath on September 8 at a private emergency clinic in Chennai. He was in a coma for past few days.

Lyricist, artist and government official Pulamaipithan inhaled his keep going on September 8 at a private clinic in Chennai. He was admitted to Fortis Malar medical clinic in the city on August 28 and was put in a coma. He was 85. His body will be taken to his home in Neelangarai and will be saved for public tribute. Government officials and his fans have been sending their sympathies to his family.

PULAMAIPITHAN DIES AT 85 IN CHENNAI

Because of old enough related illnesses, Pulamaipithan was conceded to a private emergency clinic in Chennai on August 28. The clinic delivered an assertion saying that he was in a coma. Nonetheless, his medical issue weakened, and he died on the morning of September 8.

PULAMAIPITHAN’S CAREER

Pulamaipithan was brought into the world in Coimbatore in 1935. During the 60s, he came to Chennai with an undying aspiration to pen verses for tunes in Tamil movies. His huge break came when he composed the tune Naan Yaar Nee Yaar for MGR in his film Kudiyirundha Koyil (1968). In his vocation, he had composed more than 100 sonnets in Tamil.

Pulamaipithan had composed lyrics for driving Kollywood stars including MG Ramachandran AKA MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. In 2016, he composed the lyrics for the melody Thaaimai from Vijay’s Theri. It was sung by Bombay Jayashri. Pulamaipithan filled in as the Deputy Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Council.
