Leo Movie Gathers 5.4 Crore In Pre-Bookings Ahead Of October 19 Release

The upcoming Vijay Lokesh Kanakaraj film “Leo” has sent ripples through the Kerala box office as the release date approaches. The excitement is palpable, evident in the remarkable pre-booking collections of Rs 5.4 crore from Kerala on the first day of ticket sales. Online bookings for Leo kicked off on a Sunday morning, witnessing an impressive surge with about three and a half lakh tickets sold online in a single day. An astounding 80,000 tickets were sold within the first hour of online booking, reflecting the immense anticipation for this cinematic venture. The pre-sales for Leo in Kerala have amassed an impressive 5.4 crores from a total of 2263 shows. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 19, and the buzz is only growing stronger.

In a notable move, the morning show timing has been shifted to 9 am in Tamil Nadu. However, fans from Tamil Nadu are making their way to Kerala for the morning show, given the absence of a show in their state at that time.The film has received a UA certificate and is produced by Lalith Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the esteemed banners of Seven Screen Studios and The Root. The distribution rights for Kerala have been secured by Gokulam Gopalan of Shree Gokulam Movies, with Dream Big Films as the distribution partner.

Leo boasts an impressive star cast, led by the iconic thalapathy Vijay. The film’s pre-booking success has already set a high bar, surpassing the pre-sale figures of Dulquer Salmaan’s “King of Kotha.” Pre-sales for “Kothi” amounted to 3.43 crores. “Leo” now stands ahead in the race, with “KGF 2” (4.3 crores), “Beast” (3.41 crores), and “Vikram” (2.63 crores) following closely in pre-sales figures.The movie promises an ensemble of talented actors, including Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Myshkin, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy, Janani, Abhirami Venkatachalam, and Babu Antony, among others.
