Laila to make a comeback in Tamil films with Karthi’s thriller film ‘Sardar’

Pithamagan fame actress Laila has been away from the Tamil film for a long time. After a long gap, she will make a rebound with Karthi‘s forthcoming film Sardar. As per sources, the actress has been roped in to assume a key part in the movie being helmed by PS Mithran.

The film is an action thriller drama. Raashii Khanna, Simran, and Rajisha Vijayan will also be an important part of the film’s cast. Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey will make his debut in the Tamil film industry with this film.

Bankrolled by S. Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, the anticipation movie will have music made by G. V. Prakash Kumar. George C. Williams is will be the cinematographer, while Ruben is the editor. The release date for this upcoming spy crime thriller has not been finalized yet. Although, fans are keenly looking forward to Karthi’s next.

Meanwhile, Laila was most recently seen in Ajith‘s 2006 Kollywood flick, Thirupathi. She showed up in the film. Afterward, the Tamil actress moved to Mumbai post her marriage in 2006. She was also one of the judges on the reality TV show Dance Jodi Dance Juniors and further showed up on the TV serial Gokulathil Seethai. She played herself in the Soap drama.

For the unversed, Laila was supposed to make a comeback in 2019 with Raiza Wilson headlined Alice. However, the venture failed to take off. Now, the fans are thrilled to see the actress in Sardar. Actress Laila made her debut in Tamil in a special appearance in Shankar’s ‘Mudhalvan’ starring Arjun and Manisha Koirala.
