Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan starrer Pada pushed to March 11 for release. Director Kamal K.M’s. much-anticipated Malayalam film ‘Pada’, Will be released on March 11, rather than the prior declared date of March 10. The film highlights Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan, and Joju George in lead roles.
The film has set off enormous interest among film buffs and fans as the story are based on true incidents that happened in Kerala. The story is about a gathering of four individuals battling for the freedoms of Adivasis. Pada raises several questions about government and governance. On October 4, 1996, the Palakkad Collector was held hostage in his office for about 10 hours by a group of men who called themselves ‘Ayyankali Pada’. The incident led to inquiries its repercussions are still discussed in official circles and among activists fighting for justice for tribal communities in Kerala.

The film is produced by E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. The cinematography of the film is done by Sameer Thahir and the music by Vishnu Vijay.
Aside from Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan, and Joju George, the film additionally includes Dileesh Pothan, Prakash Raj, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Indrans, Salim Kumar, Jagadish, T G Ravi, Unnimaya Prasad, Savithri Sreedharan, V K Sreeraman, and Shine Tom Chacko among others.
Sources near the unit of the film say that the film has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/An endorsement and makes some run memories of two hours and five minutes. The film is shot in and around Thrissur and Palakkad from July 2019 to December 2021. The movie has more than 1,500 junior artistes. The shooting was completed in 50 days over four schedules.
