Ajith Kumar is working on two exciting projects. He will make his debut on the big screen in the H Vinoth film Thunivu. Later, Vignesh Shivan will helm an untitled film in which the Valimai star would play the lead role. Any updates on these projects are eagerly anticipated by movie fans. Now, Vignesh Shivan shared a picture of Ajith Kumar posing next to a bike in front of a Buddha statue on Twitter.

He captioned the post as, “A Storm before the calm”. Whether the message is a foreshadowing of an AK62 update is still up for debate. If that’s the case, it’s exciting news for Ajith Kumar fans. He is rumored to be starring in the film opposite Lady Superstar Nayanthara.

The most recent rumors surrounding the drama also claim that actor and director Gautham Vasudev Menon may be cast as the movie’s antagonist. Meanwhile, he revealed the information in a recent interview saying, “My friend Vignesh is extremely close to me, but nothing has been brought up to me as of yet. If there were such a thing, I would adore playing the adversary because it’s a character that always thrills me.” For those who don’t know, Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty, and Arun Vijay starred in the 2015 action comedy Yennai Arindhaal, which Gautham Vasudev Menon directed.

Ajith Kumar is now filming Thunivu in the interim. His third collaboration with director H Vinoth is for the picture. These two previously worked together on the movies Valimai and Nerkonda Paarvai.
