The production of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming gangster movie has indeed wrapped up. The filming began in September 2022 and entered post-production in February 2023. The movie underwent reshoots as well. It is scheduled to release during the Onam festival and is expected to compete with Mohanlal’s spy-thriller “Ram” for the top spot at the box office. The film, titled “King of Kotha,” serves as the directorial debut of Abhilash Joshiy, the son of veteran director Joshiy.
It is produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his banner, Wayfarer Films, in association with ZEE Studios. The cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi, while the music is composed by Jakes Bejoy.”King of Kotha” features an ensemble cast including Gokul Suresh, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Shammi Thilakan. The movie is anticipated to have an extravagant worldwide unveiling during Onam 2023.
