Maharashtra and Karnataka are ahead of Kerala in the number of active patients. There are 2,60,363 patients in Maharashtra and 1,07,737 in Karnataka. Maharashtra, one of the worst affected states, has so far confirmed more than 13.66 lakh cases. Twenty-two states have seen a decline in the number of active cases.
