In a match against Bihar, Kerala secured a resounding 6-wicket win, propelling them to the top position in Group B. Bihar, batting first, struggled to muster 111 runs, losing 4 wickets, and Kerala efficiently chased down the target within 13 overs. Although Mohammad Azharuddin (1) fell early, the second-wicket partnership between Rohan Kunnummal (36 off 27 balls) and Vishnu Vinod (32 off 17 balls) ensured Kerala’s victory. Abdul Basit (39 not out in 23 balls), who was promoted in the batting order, emerged as Kerala’s top scorer.
