Studio Green is one of the leading production houses in Tamil cinema, owned by KE Gnanavel Raja. Director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala made his first time at the direction in 2016 and his latest movie ‘Bagarraju’, a Telugu film featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishnan, and Kriti Shetty is running successfully in theaters now. Bangarraju has emerged as a box office winner in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The absence of mega biggies like RRR and Radhe Shyam has given Bangarraju a massive hold in theatres. It is interesting that Studio Green has signed director Kalyan Krishna for a new film and more details regarding the project are expected to be known in the coming days.
Studio Green is presently creating Simbu’s ‘Pathu Thala’ which is directed by Obeli N Krishna. The music for the film is created by AR Rahman and the film has entertainer Priya Bhavani Shankar in the number one spot job. The creation house is additionally bankrolling Pa Ranjith – Vikram project ‘Chiyaan 61’. It is normal that the film will go on the grounds soon. Studio Green is also producing GV Prakash’s next film, Rebel which is currently underway in the production stages.
