Pa Ranjith’s film ‘Madras’ which is currently being dubbed in Telugu as ‘Naa Peru Shiva 2’ is good to go to release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in January 2022. The moviemakers took to their Twitter handles to declare that the film will be released for the current month.
KE Gnanavel Raja who has bankrolled ‘Chiyaan 61’ under the flag of Studio Green Production has reported through the official handle of the creation house that the Telugu named form of ‘Madras’ will be released on 13 January.

KE Gnanavel Raja is known for producing films with grandeur and great vision. His production ventures like Yuganiki Okkadu and Aawara prove the same. Pa Ranjith is a very talented filmmaker who previously helmed hits like Kabali and Sarpatta Parambarai. The duo joined hands for Naa Peru Siva 2. The film is set to release in theatres on January 13.
‘Madras’ was released in 2014 and the film included Karthi, Kalaiarasan, Catherine Tresa, and Rythvika. The music for the film was created by Santhosh Narayanan. It was released by KE Gnanavel Raja, SR Prabhu, SR Prakashbabu and it was a film that was generally welcomed in Tamil Nadu. It made a film industry box office of over Rs 4.5 crore in Tamil Nadu in the initial three days of its release.
Also, Karthi is very busy on the professional front. The star has some good projects waiting to be released in 2022 including Mani Ratnam’s directorial project Ponniyin Selvan. He will also be reuniting with his Komban director M Muthaiah. The project titled Viruman is being financed by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. In the meantime, Karthi is presently shooting for P. S. Mithran’s Sardar. Besides Karthi, the film also stars Raashii Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Murali Sharma, and Simran.
