Karthi starrer ‘Sardar’ runtime announced- seems a bit lengthy

Popular Tamil actor Karthi recently earned plaudits for his performance as Vandiyadevan in Mani Ratnam’s pan-Indian blockbuster “Ponniyin Selvan 1.” Karthi’s upcoming movie, Sardar, which will be released this Diwali, features him in the lead role. The theatrical debut of the spy thriller directed by PS Mithran is barely one week away. According to rumors, the new movie will be 2 hours, and 46 minutes and the censored information will be made public soon.

According to rumors, Karthi will be portraying two characters, and for his duty as a spy, he would wear different looks. Both Raashi Khanna and Laila have significant roles; the latter brings her return to the big screen after a 16-year absence. The recently published “Sardar” teaser has generated some talk for the movie, and the trailer is anticipated to be released soon to raise anticipation. After the two hugely successful movies “Irumbu Thirai” and “Hero,” filmmaker PS Mithran’s third film will have music by GV Prakash Kumar.

The two Diwali releases, Sardar by Karthi and Prince by Sivakarthikeyan, will compete against one another at the box office on October 21. Both movies deal with diverse genres. Following the release of “Hero” vs. “Thambi” on the same date in December 2019, this will be Sivakarthikeyan and Karthi’s second box office battle.
