While the fans adore our favorite celebrities, they can also be rather vindictive at times. One such event recently involved Darshan, a well-known Sandalwood actor. A rogue from the audience threw a slipper at the actor as he was attending a promotional event for his upcoming action comedy Kranti in Vijayanagara’s Hosapete. He was on stage in front of a statue of the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar when it happened.

The authorities are currently looking through the CCTV footage to identify the incident’s perpetrators. FIR was submitted at the Hosapate City Police Station, and two special squads are now looking into the situation. Numerous persons have already been questioned by the police.

Darshan previously gained attention for making an offensive comment. Recently a video of the actor went viral on social media in which he can be heard saying, “Goddess of Luck doesn’t knock on the door always. When she knocks, grab her, drag her into your bedroom and strip her naked. If you give her clothes, she will go out.”

Netizens took issue with the statement and criticized the celebrity for expressing it.
Recall that Darshan has been involved in conflicts before. The Yajamana star was sentenced to prison for allegedly hitting his wife back in 2011.

Returning to Kranti, the film was produced under the supervision of V. Harikrishna. Along with other renowned actors, the production also features prominent roles for Rachita Ram, Ravichandran, and Sumalatha. V Harikrishna will compose the music for the movie, which is supported by Shylaja Nag and B. Suresha under the auspices of Media House Studio Banner. A. Karunakar and Prakash Karinja handled the film’s cinematography and editing, respectively, in the meantime.
