510 regional health workers will be appointed in the health department of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission released the advertisement for Jharkhand Regional Worker Appointment Competitive Examination 2024 on Friday. Candidates will be able to apply online from August 1 to August 31. The examination fee will be deposited by September 2. At the same time, photos and signatures will be uploaded till September 4 and the link to download the printout of the application form will remain open. A link will be given for amendment in the online application from September 6 to 8. It is mandatory to have passed matriculation by the last date of application. The minimum age limit for appointment has been fixed at 18 years. The age limit will be calculated from August 1, 2024.
Appointments will be made on 230 posts for unreserved, 133 for scheduled tribe, 44 for scheduled caste, 45 for extremely backward, 07 for backward and 51 posts for economically weaker section.
Exam will be conducted in one stage
The competitive exam will be computer based or OMR based. The exam will be conducted in one stage (main exam). In this all the questions will be objective and multiple choice type. One question will be of three marks. Three marks will be given for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The main exam will consist of three papers. The first paper will be on language knowledge, the second paper will be on tribal and regional languages and the third paper will be on general studies. It will be mandatory to score 30-30% marks separately in all the three papers. The first paper will be only for qualifying and its marks will not be added to the merit list.
Application fee – Rs 100. For SC and ST category of Jharkhand – Rs 50.
