KBOSE 12th result 2020: Class 12th results of Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board’s summer zone Jammu were released on Sunday. Among them, the girls were ahead of the wood. Together, both government and private schools have improved exam results despite the challenging situation of the Kovid-19 epidemic. A total of 33,779 students took the exam, of which 17,759 were boys and 16,020 were girls. Of these, 26,139 students have passed.
Officials said the pass percentage of girls is 82 percent while that of boys is 73 percent. Officials said that Ritika Sharma has topped the art subjects and she has scored 99.0% marks while Anshul Thakur, Kritika Sharma, Riba Shamim Malik, Stazin Sharab, Tania Gupta jointly topped the science subjects. They all scored 98.6 percentage points. He told that Kriti has topped the commerce subjects with 98.4 percent marks.
Officials said that 9100 students have got their Distinction (75% or more marks) while 10,653 students have got First Division, 5,714 students have Second Division and 672 students have Third Division.
Expressing satisfaction over the results, Principal Secretary (School Education and Skill Development) Asghar Hasan Samun said that government schools have improved the pass percentage and it has increased to 73 percent as compared to 55.70 percent last year.
He said that percentage of private schools has also increased. It is now 85 percent as compared to 73.07 percent last year. He said that the overall pass percentage was 77.83 percent.
Director of School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta said that the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board has released the exam results in a very difficult time amid the epidemic.
