Janany has been cast in Vijay starrer Thalapathy67

We confirmed a few days ago that Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has been cast as the antagonist in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-anticipated film with Thalapathy Vijay. Now for an exclusive! Janany, who rose to prominence on Bigg Boss Tamil — Season 6, has reportedly been cast in a key role.

According to a source close to the production, Janany has been signed on and will begin filming soon. However, when we contacted Janany to confirm the same, all she was willing to say was, “I can’t talk anything about it now. Only the makers should have a say on it.”

It’s worth noting that Lokesh Kanagaraj recently stated that there will be many updates on the film in the next week. The filming of #Thalapathy67 is currently underway in Kashmir, with major stunt sequences being shot there. The film is being marketed as a stylish action entertainer with multiple antagonists. According to reports, director Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mollywood star Nivin Pauly have been roped in to play important roles.

Previously, another image of Thalapathy Vijay went viral. Vijay is expected to wear long hair in a style similar to his ‘Varisu’ look. The stylish actor is said to have recently completed filming for a promotional video for Thalapathy 67, which will be released in conjunction with the film’s announcement. Thalapathy 67 will undoubtedly be a highlight of Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe, with appearances by Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahad Faasil in the promotional video.
