Jackie Shroff confirms to be part of Rajinikanth’s Jailer

Jackie Shroff appears to be reuniting with Rajinikanth on the big screen. The Bollywood star is expected to be cast in a prominent part in the Superstar’s Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, with the majority of Jaggu Dada’s scenes being shot in Hyderabad.

The newest breaking news is that famous Hindi actor Jackie Shroff has joined the cast of Jailer. According to reports, he began filming for the film in Jodhpur. Rajinikanth and Jackie Shroff previously collaborated on the 1987 Hindi film Uttar Dakshin. In 2014, they co-starred in the photorealistic motion capture film Kochadaiiyaan.

Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, and Vasanth Ravi are among the cast members of Jailer. Rajinikanth will portray the role of Muthuvel Pandian, and more than 60% of the filming has already been finished. The massive multistarrer, produced by Sun Pictures, has music by Anirudh. Every week, the producers have been inundating fans with information on the film’s cast.

The production studio has confirmed that Shiva Rajkumar from Sandalwood, Mohanlal from Mollywood, and Sunil from Tollywood will appear alongside Thalaivar in Jailer. The technical team includes cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan and editor Nirmal. According to reports, the crew plans to release the film on August 11, 2023.
