Ishq director Anuraj Manohar’s next film Sekharavarma Rajavu was declared as of late, with Nivin Pauly in the lead role.
The director lets us know that the film, which ought to go on floors in January one year from now, has a story that talks about rank issues with regards to Kerala history. He uncovers, “This is a feel-good film, which also has a legal battle as part of its plot. We are planning to shoot entirely in Pattambi. While the first schedule will be in January, we would be shooting the rest around April or May.” The film’s content is by S Ranjith. Clearly, the copyist has been dealing with it for the beyond six years.”After Ishq in 2019, I too have not concentrated on any other project, all this time. I feel that this is a story everyone can connect with and we can see around us all the time. Moreover, this is something that needs to be said,” hints the director.
Anuraj says that in the film, Nivin plays the title character of Sekharavarma. “He belongs to a royal family from Malabar. He is a member of the current generation of the family, in the story,” says the director. He says that the person has no shades of any of the jobs that Nivin has played up until now. “He is an entertainer who has many fans among the family crowd as well and that is likewise a justification behind us to focus in on him for this job,” Anuraj clarifies.
