The 53rd International Film Festival of India recently presented the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award to the Acharya actor. Chiranjeevi also reflected on his choice to forgo acting in order to pursue his political ambitions. The actor made a lifelong commitment to never repeat this mistake. Chiranjeevi added that he is a slave to the affection of Telugu movie fans everywhere and that it is because of their love that he is receiving such honors.
