India has started testing the Covid vaccine, which is being developed locally, in humans

Hyderabad: India has confidence in the vaccine test against Kovid. Kovid vaccine, a locally developed Kovid vaccine against the corona virus, has been tested in humans. The first phase of the vaccine is being tested on 375 people. The clinical trial, which started on July 15, is being conducted at 12 hospitals across the country.

The experiment was performed on a group of volunteers. In addition, covaxin may be tested as a drug in some people who have been diagnosed with the virus. The first step is to check if the person receiving the vaccine is showing any kind of discomfort. Therefore, it is not possible to determine at an early stage whether the vaccine will be effective against Kovid.

The vaccine is being developed jointly by Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company ACMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) and NIV (National Institute of Virology).
