Mohammad Siraj showcased an exceptional performance, securing the top position in the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings for September by claiming 11 wickets in six matches, including a remarkable five-wicket haul against Sri Lanka during the Asia Cup final.
During last month’s Asia Cup, Shubman Gill emerged as the top scorer of the tournament, amassing an impressive 302 runs at an average of 75.5. Following this, he continued his impressive form by scoring 178 runs, including a century, in the initial two matches of the ODI series against Australia. Notably, Gill also notched up a century against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. Throughout last month, he struck three half-centuries. In the eight innings he played last season, Gill was dismissed for less than 50 only twice.
