AFCAT 2021: Indian Air Force has started the application process for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT – 02/2021) 2021. Through this examination, recruitment will be done in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) of the Indian Air Force. The online application process has started at careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in. Candidates can apply online till 30 June. 334 posts will be filled through this recruitment.
Age limit
AFCAT – 20 to 24 years. Age will be calculated from 1st July 2022. That is, the applicant should have been born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002.
Ground duty (technical and non-technical) – 20 to 26 years. Age will be calculated from 1st July 2022. That is, the applicant must have been born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002.
The selection will be the
online AFCAT exam. Candidates having Ground Duty (Technical) Branch will also have to appear in Engineering Knowledge Test. Final merit will be drawn on the basis of performance in both AFCAT and AFSB exams.
100 questions will be asked in the exam pattern 2 hours 45 minutes test which will be from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Military Aptitude. The paper will be of 300 marks.

Flying Branch – 50 per cent of the 12th, the 12th to be maths and physics subject and at least graduation in any discipline with 60 per cent of brands with brands

at least BE / B.Tech degree with 60 percent marks
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
12th Pass with 50% Marks, Maths and Physics in 12th and
Four Years Degree / Integrated Post Graduation in Engineering
