HBO will cease broadcasting in India two decades later. Siddharth Jain, South Asia MD, Warner Media, said the pay-TV industry has undergone major changes and Kovid has accelerated the need for change. It was a tough decision to stop broadcasting in these countries. He also thanked all the partners who took their brands home. Warner Media’s offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore will continue to operate. This is for monitoring children’s channels.
