The release date of Jailer, the latest film starring Rajinikanth, has been released. The film will hit theaters worldwide on August 10. The Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar.

Ramya Krishnan also appears as a strong character in the film. Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan are teaming up after 23 years after the big hit ‘Patayappa’. Malayalam actor Vinayak and Kannada actor Shivraj Kumar are playing the lead roles in the film. After Vijay’s ‘Beast’, Jailer is also a film directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. As the name suggests, Rajinikanth plays the role of a jailer in the film. Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling the cinematography for the film, which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stunt Shiva is the action choreographer of the film. A huge set was also built for the film at Ramoji Rao Film City.
