‘Drishyam,’ directed by Jeetu Joseph, was released in 2013 and starred south actors Mohanlal, Meena Durairaj, and Ansiba Hassan. It received positive acclaim from both the audience and reviewers. Following the film’s huge success, the directors announced a sequel for the thriller Malayalam film, ‘Drishyam 2: The Resumption,’ which aired exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 2021 and received a fantastic response from the audience.

The makers of ‘Drishyam’ have officially confirmed the third installment, which will tell the story of Geroge Kutty and his family as they hide a murder from the authorities.
Drishyam‘ was recreated in Hindi in 2015 with the same title, featuring stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran, and was a box office success. The film was also remade in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu, in addition to Hindi. The official Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 2’ is now under production, with the film set to enter theatres on November 18, 2022.

‘Drishyam (Hindi),’ directed by the late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat, is the story of a family of four whose lives are turned upside down after an unpleasant tragedy occurs to their older daughter. Devgn is scheduled to reprise his role as Vijay Salgoankar in the sequel, which will also include Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta from the original film.
