Four persons have been arrested for blackmailing Shamna Kasim. They threatened to ruin Shamna’s career if she did not pay Rs. The police have arrested four people following a complaint lodged by Shamna’s mother. Rafeeq from Vadanapally, Thrissur, Ramesh from Kadavannur, Sarath from Kaipamangalam and Ashraf from Chettuwa were arrested. The young man with the Kasargod came in for a divorce.
The youths reached Shamna’s Kochi home and a young man was copying the video. Shamna’s mother was questioned and threatened to ruin her career. Her mother filed a complaint with the police yesterday. They said the incident, which took place months ago, could not be addressed in the wake of the lockdown. The accused were remanded.
