Fans are requesting Vamshi to release the uncut version of Varisu

On January 11, Vijay’s Varisu, a Pongal movie, opened in theatres with a running time of roughly 2 hours and 50 minutes. Many people complained that the family drama/action entertainer was too long, and some even compared it to a TV serial. The film’s director, Vamshi Paidipally, then took aim at them, saying that making movies was no joke and that it was inappropriate to disparage TV shows because they are also important sources of entertainment. The film’s director’s cut reportedly runs for four hours now.

Varisu 3

A business tycoon named Rajendaran (Sarathkumar) searches among his three kids, Jay (Srikanth), Ajay (Shaam), and Vijay, for a good successor in the plan (Vijay). In the entire episode of Khusbu Sundar, a flashback scene between Rajendaran (Sarathkumar) and Jayaprakash (Prakash Raj), who plays the movie’s arch-rivals in business, Vijay meeting Jayaprakash at his office, and Jayaprakash’s apology to Rajendran toward the end are some of the parts that have been cut. To improve the film’s overall flow in the final version, the segments were eliminated. These scenes are included in the uncut version, which is 4 hours long. Fans questioned why the actress was absent because the scenes starring Khushbu were deleted from the final product and even contacted the producers about it. Fans are asking Vamshi to release the uncut version of the film.

Praveen KL has handled the editing for Varisu. Karthik Palani is responsible for the cinematography, while Thaman composed the soundtrack. According to reports, Varisu is on track to earn more than Rs 200 crore at the box office as it continues to do well. Theater reservations are continuing to be solid in the interim. After an 8-year gap, Varisu and Ajith’s Thunivu were both released at the same time, to the delight of both actors’ fans.
