Fahadh Faasil’s “Malayankunju” will have a theatrical release

The multi-talented Mollywood actor Fahadh Faasil is going to star in Sajimon Prabhakar’s forthcoming survival thriller “Malayankunju.” The movie’s makers have changed their minds and opted to go with a theatrical release instead of the original plan for a direct-to-OTT release. Malayankunju will soon appear in theaters, according to the film’s creators. The Malayalam film is expected to be released on July 22 or 29.

Although the filmmakers haven’t decided on a specific date, most sources indicate that the movie will hit theatres on July 22. The film will reportedly be a terrific theatrical experience, which is the reported reason for the change in release.

After two years, Fahadh Faasil is making a comeback on the big screen. Trance, the actor’s most recent release, was a superhit. Despite the language barrier, the movie got favorable reviews and praise from viewers.

The acclaimed director Mahesh Narayanan, who will also be manning the lens for the survival thriller, wrote the script for “Malayankunju,” which is being directed by Sajimon Prabhakar. One of the film’s standout features is the inclusion of master musician AR Rahman as the score composer for the Fahadh Faasil starring.

The main character of the movie, Anirudhan alias Anikkuttan, who is an electronics technician, is played by Fahadh Faasil, and it depicts a very exciting and strange survival story that is set in the hilly areas of Kerala. Along with Fahadh Faasil, other notable actors who appear in it include Rajisha Vijayan, Indrans, Jaya Kurup, Jaffar Idukki, Deepak Parambol, Johny Antony, and Shyamaprasad.
