Fahadh Faasil revealed the 3rd part of Pushpa

While promoting one of his upcoming movies, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil recently addressed the media and revealed some previously unreleased information about Sukumar’s Pushpa.

Revealing that the interval band was originally intended to be the finale scene at the police station, “When I was first narrated the script, there was no Pushpa 1 and 2. That scene led to the interval but later on, Sukumar decided he had enough material to split the film into two parts.” In fact, the actor revealed, that the director had enough material to make the third part too. “I spoke to him recently and was told there’s scope for a third part too. There’s just so much material.”

Fahadh called Allu Arjun and Sukumar his good friends. He also shared that the director gave him enough time, and space to memorize his lines as Telugu was a new language to him.

Pushpa describes Pushpa Raj’s story and ascent from a coolie to a mobster for the uninitiated. Red sandalwood smuggling is the central theme of the movie, which Sukumar originally planned to study for a web series. In the movie, Fahadh Faasil plays a sadistic police officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, while Rashmika Mandanna plays the title character Pushpa’s sweetheart Srivalli.

The last scene of Pushpa: The Rise, the first movie in the series, featured Pushpa and Bhanwar engaging in combat. The rivalry will continue in the upcoming movie Pushpa: The Rule, which might also feature Vijay Sethupathi as a new antagonist. More information is awaited. Pushpa: The Rule will go on floors in August.
