Dulquer Salmaan’s Hey Sinamika will premiere on television

Hey Sinamika, the debut feature of choreographer-turned-filmmaker Brinda, will air on Colors Tamil on August 28th at 2 p.m. On March 3, the picture was released in theatres and got mixed reviews. Madhan Karky wrote the narrative for the love drama starring Dulquer Salman, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Kajal Aggarwal. Preetha Jayaraman shot the film, Govind Vasantha composed the soundtrack, and Radha Sridhar edited it.

Notably, the film’s title is based on the Aye Sinamika song from Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani, which also starred Dulquer Salmaan. The film is Jio Studios’ maiden foray into the Tamil film business. Jio Studios and Global One Studios collaborated on the film’s production. The film began production in 2020 and was scheduled to be released in February 2021, however, it was postponed owing to the epidemic. It was rescheduled for June 2021 and then November 2021, but both times it was pushed again. The February date has already been confirmed.

The film is co-produced by the actor’s production company, Wayfarer Films, and is based on the life of India’s wanted criminal Sukumara Kurup, who was accused of murder and faking his death. Aditi Rao Hydari, on the other hand, was most recently seen in Telugu’s Maha Samudram. Kajal Aggarwal is recently enjoying her motherhood phase.
