Dulquer Salmaan shoots in Kashmir for the first time for Sita Ramam

For the actors and the team of the Sita Ramam film, shooting in Kashmir’s stunning landscape drew out the legitimate feel for each shot. The group took photographs at the Thajwass Glacier, Dal Lake, Rockstar House, Jalali House, and a lot of additional beautiful areas. The team worked for more than a month before completing their shot on time.

It was Dulquer Salmaan’s first visit to Kashmir and a truly special encounter, portraying it as “like walking into a snapshot, a painting, or a movie. It’s challenging to visualize Kashmir’s richness and beauty while maintaining the illusion of being there in person. It truly inspires amazement. Without delay. I’d really want to go to Pahalgam and Gulmarg.”

Talking about the experience of shooting at a high height, Director Hanu Raghavapudi expressed, “Kashmir is without a doubt the Paradise on Earth and has been the nicest host. The entire unit was delighted to witness this beautiful sight. The locals were kind and helpful. We even had the chance to savour some regional cuisine and encounter a different culture. The police and the administration permitted us to complete the shoot as planned with covid 19 protocols even though we were shooting during the start of the second phase of lockdown. According to our exact plan, we completed our shooting schedule.

A special duty officer offered his unfaltering help and lauded the makers for picking Kashmir as the site while Sita Ramam was being recorded. He said that motion pictures like these would empower more individuals to see Kashmir’s beauty.

An unimaginable romantic tale called Sita Ramam is set in 1965 against the background of a conflict. Alongside Mrunal Thakur as Sita Mahalakshmi, as the female lead, and Rashmika Mandanna in a cameo, Dulquer Salmaan plays Lieutenant Ram, an orphan serving the country in Kashmir.

The 50-year-old Vyjayanthi Movies present the film, and it was made for Swapna Cinema by Ashwini Dutt. Brinda choreographed the film, PS Vinod handled the camerawork, and Vishal Chandrasekhar composed the soundtrack. Sita Ramam will be released in three dialects: Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil on August 5th.
