Dulquer Salmaan, a beloved star of Malayalam cinema, is celebrating his 37th birthday today. Born on July 28, 1986, Dulquer has captured the hearts of fans with his style and looks that defy his age. Dulquer, who entered the film industry under the label of being the son of megastar Mammootty, later became a Malayali star with a large fan base in South India. He has also made his presence felt in Bollywood.
Dulquer’s first film was “Second Show”, directed by Srinath Rajendran. From his debut film itself, Dulquer managed to win over the hearts of his fans. His star value increased with the super hit movie “Ustad Hotel”, directed by Anwar Rasheed. Subsequently, producers waited for Dulquer’s dates. His notable Malayalam films include “Theevram”, “ABCD”, “Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi”, “Bangalore Days”, “Vikramadithyan”, “100 Days of Love”, “Charlie”, “Jomon’s Gospels”, “CIA”, “Parava”, “Solo”, “Karwaan”, “Kurup”, “Salute” and many more. Dulquer has also shined in Tamil and Hindi languages.
In addition to being an actor, Dulquer has also made his mark as a producer and playback singer in the cinema industry. Dulquer is the younger of the two children of the Mammootty Sulfath couple. His life partner is Amal Sufiya and they have a daughter named Mariam.
