DSEU will go to students for admission, will start with 12 courses

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) is going to start from this academic session. Under which DSEU will start with 12 courses. So the students will not have to come to the university campus for admission there but will go to them to give admission to the students. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that this would be the first time in the history of the country that a university would personally go to the students for admission. Under which DSEU will conduct aptitude tests by visiting schools in the month of December-January, on the basis of which they will be admitted.

DSEU will start with 6 thousand student capacity
To mark the beginning of this DSEU organized a webinar on Friday. In which Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as well as MLA Atishi, DSEU Vice Chancellor Niharika Vohra and heads of government schools of Delhi were present. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia informed that DSEU will be started from this session with the capacity of 6 thousand students. In which there will be 4500 seats in the diploma course, So there will be 1500 seats for a degree course. He said that the aim of DSEU is to inculcate confidence in every student studying in Delhi schools that a world-class institution is ready for their further studies. The Deputy Chief Minister said that children studying in a vocational stream in schools are not able to get admission to DU. There is always a question in the mind of such children that where should we go after pursuing vocational education. This university is the answer to the question of those students. The one who will give this confidence to our students, they should continue their vocational studies and they will have the confidence that a university is sitting with its doors open for their further studies.
