With back-to-back successes like Naane Varuven, The Gray Man, and Thiruchitrambalam, Dhanush has been entertaining his fans. The versatile performer will next be seen on film in Captain Miller, a film directed by Arun Matheswaran. With a formal puja, the initiative was introduced in September of this year. Throughout the occasion, the protagonist was spotted wearing only white clothing. He wore a white shirt with a matching mundu and displayed his long hair and a salt-and-pepper beard.
Another lovely launch video has since appeared on social media. The Atrangi Re actor was spotted playing with a toddler at the occasion, embracing his inner child. As they matched in white, the two were charming.
According to sources, the film features a dark humor element and is set around the 1930s–1940s. The movie has been presented by T.G. Thyagarajan under the Sathya Jyothi Films label with support from Sendhil and Arjun Thyagarajan. The movie is being co-produced by Sai Siddharth and G. Saravanan.
The dialogue for the Tamil version of the film was written by Madhan Karky, who is known for writing blockbusters like Baahubali, RRR, and Pushpa. For Captain Miller, Shreyaas Krishna and Nagooran are in charge of the cinematography and editing, respectively, while GV Prakash Kumar composed the soundtrack. T. Ramalingam, the team’s art director, has also joined them.
The highly anticipated drama has already gone on the floors and will release in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Additionally, Dhanush will star in the multilingual movie Vaathi, which is being directed by Venky Atluri. The actor who made his Hollywood debut with the spy thriller The Gray Man this year will also play a significant role in the series’ follow-up, The Gray Man 2.
