Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam trailer gains six million views on YouTube

Dhanush has amassed a huge fan base over the years because of his acting prowess in Kollywood, Tollywood, Bollywood, and even Hollywood. One of the few actors with popularity across all of India is the 39-year-old. Dhanush is ready for the premiere of his forthcoming movie, Thiruchitrambalam, which will be released after he starred in the Russo brothers’ The Gray Man on Netflix. Dhanush plays the titular delivery boy in the eagerly awaited Tamil flick. It also stars Prakash Raj, Nithya Menon, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, Bharathiraja, and Munishkanth in addition to Dhanush.

The most recent sources state that the censorship procedures for Dhanush’s next comedy-drama have been approved. Thiruchitrambalam reportedly earned a U/A certificate from the Censor Board, according to another report. The film, which is being directed by Mithran R. Jawahar, is scheduled for nationwide release on August 18.

Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar have worked together four times, the most recent being Thiruchitrambalam. Before collaborating on Thiruchitrambalam, the actor-director team previously worked together on Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran.

After his popular Netflix film The Gray Man last month, Dhanush received widespread media attention. A stellar ensemble cast, including Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton, and Wagner Moura, is featured in the film The Gray Man, which was directed by the Russo brothers of the Avengers fame.
