Kantara, directed by Rishab Shetty, has received praise ever since it debuted on September 30 of this year. Another name has recently been added to the list of those who like the movie. Pan- India actor Dhanush took to his Twitter handle and penned a note that read, “Kantara .. Mind blowing !! A must-watch… Rishab Shetty, you should be very proud of yourself. In Kantara, Rishab Shetty plays a Kambala champion who challenges an honorable DRFO officer to a duel. The cast of the movie also includes D Padil, Pramod Shetty, Shanil Guru, Prakash Thuminad, Manasi Sudhir, and others. Achyuth Kumar plays Devendra Suttooru. Arvind S. Kashyap oversaw the drama’s camera work, while KM Prakash and Pratheek Shetty oversaw the editing team. Kantara’s melodies were additionally created by B Ajaneesh Loknath, a composer.
On the other side, Dhanush will star in Venky Atluri’s multilingual drama Vaathi after the success of his most recent films, Naane Varuven and Thiruchitrambalam. The drama is scheduled for a premiere on December 2 under the sponsorships of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, which are run by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. In the film, Dhanush will play a teacher who resolves to address the issues with our nation’s educational system.
Additionally, he is producing the upcoming drama Captain Miller by director Arun Matheswaran. The project, which is billed as an action-adventure film, is set in 1930.
