Since the release of Deepika Padukone’s most recent film, Pathaan, starring megastar Shah Rukh Khan, the box office has been on fire. At a recent celebration of the film’s success, she discussed it and identified her co-most star’s underappreciated skill.

When asked about working with Shah Rukh in the film’s fight scenes at the event, which also included John Abraham and director Sidharth Anand, John Abraham lavished praise on the actor, saying, “I am actually surprised that he didn’t become an action star earlier because he is so good in action and is so flexible.”Pathaan team 1

Deepika added to this by mentioning Shah Rukh’s most underrated characteristics. “This is one of the most underrated qualities about him; action is like a dance; it’s all about choreography and precision and timing, and you have to have the presence of mind when you do action, and he does it so well,” the actor remarked.

The diva went on: “Of course, he does it in an action movie, but he does it even when you are not doing an action movie. His presence of mind and surroundings is something we all have learned from him.”Deepika with SRK

Deepika made her Bollywood debut alongside the superstar in 2007’s Om Shanti Om. She later collaborated with SRK on the box office hits Chennai Express and Happy New Year.

Pathaan marks SRK’s return to the big screen after a four-year sabbatical. The action-thriller film has grossed over Rs 500 crore at overseas box offices, raising its total profits to Rs 542 crore. The Hindi version of the film grossed Rs 58.50 crore on its fifth day in India, making it the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 250 crore. Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films.
