New Delhi: The number of Kovid victims in the country is increasing day by day. In the last 24 hours, Kovid confirmed 34,884 deaths and 671 deaths. This brings the total number of Kovid victims in the country to 10,38,716. Of these, 3,58,692 are active cases. 6,53,751 people have been cured so far. So far, 26,273 people have lost their lives due to Kovid-19, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As of July 17, 1,34,33,742 samples had been tested, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research. Yesterday alone, 3,61,024 samples were tested. In Maharashtra, which has the highest number of infected people in the country, 8308 people have been diagnosed with the disease in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected people is approaching three lakh. According to figures released by the Department of Health, 292,589 people have been diagnosed with the disease so far.
In the last 24 hours, 258 people have died from the virus. The death toll rose to 11,452. There are currently 120480 active cases. So far 160357 people have been cured.
At the same time, the virus is spreading in Tamil Nadu. In the last 24 hours, 4538 new cases have been confirmed. This brings the number of people infected with the virus to 160,907. The previous day, 79 people had died. The death toll rose to 2,315. There are currently 47782 active cases. So far 110,807 people have been cured. So far, Kovid 19 has been confirmed for 1,20,107 people in Delhi. 3,571 people died. 99,301 were cured. There are 17,235 active cases.
