The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has told the Supreme Court that the ISC (12th) result will be based on the students’ six-year academic record. The board told a bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari on Thursday that the 12th result will be released on the basis of the 10th board exam results and 11th-12th project and practical exam performance. The board said that the results will be released by July 30.

The board said that if any student is dissatisfied with the marks given by the evaluation policy, then he will be given a chance to re-examine after the corona crisis is over.  While the CBSE board will see the performance of the student for three years, CISCE will see the performance for six years. The best performance of the student during the six years (2015-2021) will be assessed.

The Supreme Court was hearing petitions seeking a direction to cancel the Class 12 examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) amid the coronavirus pandemic situation.
