Christopher is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by B. Unnikrishnan and written by Udaykrishna starring Mammootty in the lead role. The cinematography is handled by Faiz Siddik and the music is composed by Justin Varghese. Principal photography began on 10 July 2022 with a pooja function. Christopher was released in theatres on 9 February 2023.
Mammootty – B. Unnikrishnan’s film Christopher received a grand reception in theatres. The main highlight of the movie is the superb making, Mammootty’s swag and background music. Mammootty plays the titular character and the film tells the life story of a police officer. Christopher is a vigilante cop who refuses to accept the law and takes the law into his own hands when justice is not served. The story of the movie is related to the people around him.
South Indian star Vinay Rao is also playing another important role in the film which has Sneha, Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lakshmi as heroines. RD The film is produced by Illuminations. Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Siddique, Jinu Abraham, Vineeta Kosi, and Vasanthi are playing other important characters. Another feature of the film is that around 35 new faces are part of the film.
