Chiyaan Vikram was most recently seen in ‘Mahaan’. The action film got a great response from the crowds and the critics. Vikram is next set to team up with Pa Ranjith in his 61st film. The official declaration was made two or three months back. Vikram will play a versatile role in his film with Pa Ranjith, and the film is accounted to be a sports dramatization. The story is based on traditional body-building in Tamil Nadu.
The producers of the film have recently locked ‘Maidhaanam’ as the title as the film includes a playground. Vikram will attempt a couple of training skills to match his character in the film, and the shooting is about to start soon. Vikram will be seen playing a power-packed role that revolves around traditional bodybuilders in Tamil Nadu. He will be seen working out using ‘karalakattai’ technique
The film’s title is supposed to be launched on Vikram’s birthday which is only days away. The shooting of ‘Chiyaan 61’ will occur across areas in Tamil Nadu, and the pre-creation work is in progress to have a consistent beginning.
In the interim, ‘Chiyaan 61’ will be the dramatization of the second sport from Pa Ranjith after the successful boxing show ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ featuring Arya, and the assumptions are high from the director. Pa Ranjith is at present dealing with the after-creation work of ‘Natchathiram Nagargirathu’ featuring Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan in lead roles.
On the work front, Vikram has completed the shooting for ‘Cobra’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan‘.
