07:18 AM: This year, students will get to see the abridged words like RT, RW, RL in the mark sheet. RT means repeat theory. Students have to pass separately in both practical and theory. Students with RT will have to give the theory paper again. But this abridgment will not be seen in the 10th as a compulsive score is seen on the 10th.
RW stands for Result Withheld. That is to stop the result for some reason.
RL means Results Later. That is, their result will be released later.
Comp means compartment. If a student fails in any one subject, cannot achieve the passing marks (33), then he/she will be placed in the category of the compartment.
ER means Essential Repeat. This time, the same word would have been written in place of Fail. Essential Repeat means those who will have to sit the exam for all subjects again next year.
Let us tell you that the CBSE 10th and 12th examinations started on 15 February 2020. The last paper of the 10th was on 18 March. In some areas of Delhi, there was a riot before the Coronavirus, due to which the examinations of CBSE East Delhi examination centers were postponed. Examinations in these areas of Delhi were to be conducted earlier but following the Supreme Court’s directive, CBSE decided to cancel the 10th and 12th examinations in view of the coronavirus crisis. In such a situation, the result of CBSE 10th students of Delhi will be released on the basis of internal assessment, project work, and assignment work. CBSE had told the Supreme Court that students who are not satisfied with the assessment marks of CBSE 12th will be given an opportunity to sit in the examination later while the result of this assessment released by the students of 10th will be the final result.
